Meet Alexis…
I'm Alexis Scarbrough, a graphic designer based in Sacramento, California. I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from California State University, Sacramento in 2026, after completing the university’s intensive graphic design program. Before transferring to Sacramento State, I studied at Cosumnes River College, where I earned an Associate in Arts in Liberal Arts with an emphasis in Arts and Humanities. After completing my degree, I transferred to Sacramento State and spent three years developing my skills in branding, typography, layout, and environmental graphics.
I was born and raised in California, where I’ve grown and built my connection to the local community. Being familiar with the area has shaped my interest in creating designs that feel purposeful and connected to real spaces and people.
My work focuses on branding, signage, and visual communication. I enjoy working through the details, refining typography, and creating designs that feel intentional and easy to understand for a wide range of audiences.
Outside of design, I enjoy spending time on creative hobbies like painting, drawing, and working with clay. I like experimenting with hands-on materials and exploring different ways to create, whether it’s on screen or off.
I'm always looking for opportunities to grow as a designer and take on projects that challenge me creatively. If you'd like to collaborate or have a project in mind, feel free to reach out and take a look at my resume and cover letter below.
